We extend our sincere congratulations to Kristyn Garrett and Jamerious Payne for being awarded the prestigious Horatio Alger Scholarship. Each student will receive $10,000 to support their educational journey. We are incredibly proud to have two recipients selected from the exclusive group of 600 winners nationwide. #GoWolves

Mark your calendars for tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 7, at 9:30 a.m. for the first Rome City Schools Parent University Class of the new year. The Rome Floyd County Commission on Children and Youth will be helping with parent coaching. Kennedy Thomas Earns Prestigious Georgia College & State University Scholarship
Rome High School senior, Kennedy Thomas, has been honored with the $6,000 Presidential Plus Scholarship from Georgia College & State University (GCSU) in Milledgeville, Ga. The award was announced on Monday, Dec. 15th.
This achievement is particularly notable as Thomas was one of only four recipients selected from a pool of 550 highly competitive applicants. Furthermore, Thomas secured one of only twenty-two available renewable scholarships offered to applicants. #GoWolves
