Today we sent home forms to allow your child the option to receive a flu shot at school. If you would like for them to receive a flu shot, please return this form along with a copy of your insurance card by next Friday (9/24). Shots will be given 10/22 if forms are returned.


September 15 to October 15 is National Hispanic American Heritage Month.

5th graders in Mrs. Abbott-Fuller’s class are learning how to elaborate on the important parts on their narrative writing!





4th graders in Mr. Summerlin’s class are exploring how to measure wind speed with an anemometer as they explore weather!

We re-launched our Helping Hands program today which allows students to donate unopened food items that would have been thrown away. Students then sort and bag these items to send home to families who need them. So proud of the compassion our students show for others!


Our 6th graders in Mrs. Hackney’s class found a yummy way to learn about the phases of the moon!

Students in each of our classrooms learned about the heroes of September 11th, 2001 as we remembered the 20th anniversary of these tragic events. We honored their memories by wearing red, white, and blue.
