Math club members had a great time building hoop gliders! They worked on their hoop glider individually, then competed within their grade level to test which hoop glider went the furthest. Top finishers were 6th grader, Lena Toles, and 2nd place was 3rd grader, Reem Sarama.

Sophia Hensley enjoyed sharing her favorite book, Ellie’s Story. It’s narrated by a dog which makes it an interesting! Thank you, Sophia, for sharing your love for reading! @romecityschools


Third grade had a wonderful time at the Tellus Museum expanding their knowledge on fossils. One fun fact they learned is that dinosaur poop is a fossil and touched it! They impressed the tour guides with their vocabulary and expertise.
