On Friday, Dec 2 at 8 PM, Rome High School football will play in Round Four of the GHSA Football Playoffs at Lakewood Stadium in Atlanta.
Out of an abundance of caution for those players, the band, cheerleaders, staff, students, and supporters traveling to the game, Rome City Schools will have a Flexible Learning Day Friday.
We believe this to be the best way to encourage safe and unrushed travel for those planning to attend the game, as well as to help RCS teachers who may struggle to find coverage for their classrooms. Friday meals will be sent home with students on Thursday afternoon. For those driving to the game, we wish you safe travels. If you plan to cheer on the Wolfpack from home, the game will be aired on Georgia Public Broadcasting.
