RHS College Fair

Ninth through twelfth grade students could be found gathered in the gymnasium during Rome High School’s annual College Fair on Friday, November 19.

Numerous local and several out-of-state colleges and universities were in attendance as Rome High students made their way through the event, asking questions and inquiring about certain institutions that peaked their interests.

“Being able to host something like this is just a great opportunity for all students,” explained Melissa Holland, Rome High School Guidance Counselor. “Not only are they able to have that one-on-one chat with an admissions recruiter, but they are also exposed to different colleges that they may have never thought about until today. It is also a great opportunity for those who are unable to travel or visit different campuses."

She continued, “We are proud to be able to offer this to our students, so they can see all of the opportunities that are out there for them after they graduate from Rome High School.”
